Trip up north [new track and a mixtape too]

So a few weeks ago I quickly visited the summer cabin up north to check everything is ready for the winter.

Took a nice panorama picture of the frozen lake the day after we arrived (it was dark) :

Most of the ice and snow melted during the stay as it got a bit warmer but we had to drill a hole to get some water for the sauna :

I also went ice fishing with my DIY tip-up but got nothing, it was very shallow though in my defense :

Anyway, I wanted to share a track I made after the trip under my Disco Enrique alias :

I also recorded a deep/funky/jackin house mixtape on my DIY rotary mixer directly to a C-cassette using a DIY lollipop headphone for cueing. Very classy indeed!

Unfortunately the rewind function of the deck started acting up and I had to manually turn the spool, but after a while it started working again so I got the file digitized :

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed the trip and my music ventures! I have another unfinished track waiting for release too; I woke up at 3:15am and started working on it out of boredom.
